New film season at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre

Film fans will have plenty to watch throughout the summer and into the autumn months.

An action-packed programme of movies will be screened at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre.

Othello, a satellite broadcast of a production by the Royal Shakespeare Company, will be shown on August 26.

A documentary about the life and death of Amy Winehouse , simply entitled Amy, will be screened from August 30 to September 1.

Queen And Country, the sequel to Hope and Glory, hits the Pomegranate screen on September 1 and 2.

Young film fans can catch the latest adventures of Thomas & Friends in Sodor’s Legend Of The Lost Treasure, visiting Chesterfield on September 6.

Danny Collins stars Al Pacino in the role of a 70s rocker whose life is turned upside down when his manager discovers a letter written by John Lennon. Discover the outcome at the Pomegranate on September 6.
