Clutching their Best New Writing award from the 2012 Buxton Festival Fringe (for AfterWords) and fresh from garnering a string of top reviews, Organised Chaos Productions are heading back to Buxton.
They return with a new production, Lightspeed, which will be staged at the Pavilion Arts Centre Studio on Thursday, June 25.
Written by Clem Harran, Lightspeed tells the story of Emma and Charlie whose paths cross one day.
She leads him to believe that she is besotted with the idea of fate and love and him. He is sceptical yet intrigued by her mystery. Emma, however, is playing a game and never truyl reveals her feelings.
The roles then reverse and Charlie becomes the very character that Emma portrays in the beginning. He falls into her trap of ideological fantasies and unrealistic realities.
Salford based Organised Chaos bring their new play to Buxton as part of a tour which is supported using public funding from the Arts Council.
The production of Lightspeed at the Pavilion Arts Centre Studio starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10. To book or for forther information, contact 0845 127 2190 or 01298 72190 or www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
