A musical tale of workers’ struggles in the19th century and ensuing ‘outrages’ of explosions and murder will be performed next month.

The Stirrings In Sheffield On Saturday Night tells the true story of a trade unionist in Sheffield Grinders’ Union.

Seventeen performers including actors from Derbyshire, will present the work at Sheffield’s Library Theatre from August 2 to 6 at 7.30pm with Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
