Comedian Seymour Mace has built his career on tall tales and twisted one-liners.
His wit has earned him spots on TV programmes such as Dave’s One Night Stand, The Weird World of Russell Brand and Clive Anderson’s Chat Room.
Seymour, who was nominated for Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award last year, has been likened to a bizarre hybrid of Harry Hill, Half Man Half Biscuit and Viz comic.
He headlines the Spotlight Comedy Club show at Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel on March 24.
Support comes from Bethany Black, star of Channel 4’s Cucumber Banana Tofu trilogy and the woman who played 474 in Dr Who. She has been described as ‘genius’ by Matt Lucas and ‘marvellous’ by Russell T Davies.
Nathan Hudson brings additional banter and bonhomie to the show, which starts at 8pm. Tickets £13, £11 (c0ncessions), £8 (students). Call 01246 345222 or www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk
