Acclaimed rockers The Hold Steady visit Sheffield Hall as part of a ten-venue tour of the UK.

The Brooklyn band are touring these shores to plug their latest album, Teeth Dreams.

The launch of their sixth studio album follows a period of four years without a release, the longest The Hold Steady have ever gone between releases.

Renowned for their lyrically dense story telling, past albums have covered a range of themes from drug addiction to religion and redemption.

The Hold Steady play inn Sheffield City Hall ballroom on Tuesday, October 16. Tickets £16 subject to booking fees, contact 01142 789 789 or www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk
