Wirksworth Town Hall Events (THE) have an exciting line up of live entertainment lined up for spring and early summer.

On Fri 26th April the film Goodbye Lenin (a German film with subtitles) will be shown preceded at 6.30pm by a german style evening meal – costing £8 and £7 concessions. The film will be shown at 7.30pm , entry £5 and £4.

On the following night, April 27th, Wirksworth’s own, famous Wam Bam Band are very generously performing a fund raising gig for THE in the Town Hall. The band have very kindly agreed to help THE achieve it’s aims by doing this performance free to help out with the group’s funds. A great night out is promised to all those who attend this gig.

Doors will open at 7.30pm with a support on at approx 8.00pm. The WBB will be on stage at about 9.00pm. Tickets are on sale form Traidlinks, price £8 and £6 or online from

Finally, on June 7th, just before their appearance at Glastonbury festival, the group are pleased to present Slim Chance, the band founded be ex Small Faces and Faces stalwart Ronnie Lane. Tickets are £10 and available form Traidlinks.
