Chart-topping vocal harmony group The Three Degrees will be performing in Buxton Opera House next month.
The American trio was formed in 1963 and still has original member Helen Scott in its ranks and Valerie Holliday who joined in 1967.
A firm favourite with Prince Charles, the Three Degrees are well known for their soulful voices, hits including When Will I See You Again, Dirty Ol’ Man and Take Good Care of Yourself as well as their beautiful gowns and fabulous stage shows .
The Three Degrees are recognised by the Guiness Book of Records as the longest running female vocal group in history.
They have been continuously touring for more than 40 years and during that time, the group has seen a total of 15 singers complete the trio. Freddie Pool has been singing alongside Helen and Valerie for the past six years.
The Three Degrees will perform at Buxton Opera House on Sunday, April 10, as part of a UK tour, ahead of concerts in Singapore and the Netherlands.
