Bard’s tale blows up a real storm

THE AJTC Theatre Company will be presenting Shakespeare’s The Tempest on Wednesday, January 11, from 7.30pm.

An old man is comatose and near death. The play of The Tempest is his last living moment, a moment in which loss is assuaged and his enemies are forgiven.

Using mime, masks, movements and music of the voice, two actors conjure storms and apparitions, lay bare treasons and counterplots, and finally transports you to the ‘brave new world’ of love and reconciliation.

Tickets are available by calling the box office on 0845 1272190.
