Enchanted Entertainment is to present another of the popular Easter pantomimes at Derby’s Assembly Rooms on April 22-23.
Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer has been confirmed as Wendy alongside comedy legend Bobby Davro as Smee and Disney’s Lloyd Warbey as Peter Pan in the touring production of Peter Pan.
Producer Jezz Weatherall said: “We’re really looking forward to returning to Derby during the Easter holidays with this fantastic show.
“It’s got a great cast of TV stars and an amazing live band. We know how popular The Wizard of Oz and Rapunzel were previously at the Assembly Rooms and we’re going to give audiences another quality family event this year, with the story of the boy who never grows up... Peter Pan”.
Enchanted Entertainment will be bringing four action-packed performances of Peter Pan to the Assembly Rooms over the Easter holidays.
Dani is a major star of children’s TV thanks to her long-running role as Tracy Beaker. She also reached the Strictly Come Dancing final at the end of 2012 and she will be joined in Neverland by comedy legend Bobby Davro and star of Disney’s Art Attack, Lloyd Warbey.
Director Guy Pascall added: “It’s going to be great fun for all the family. Peter Pan is the most magical pantomime of them all and ever since Disney sprinkled their magic touch on the story it’s become a firm favourite with
audiences. The story has such wonderful characters, such as Tinker Bell, Nana the dog, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, Pirates, Indians; it really has something for everyone.”
Enchanted Entertainment are planning some amazing flying special effects to ensure Peter Pan will be a spectacular family pantomime with wonderful sets, brilliant costumes, high-octane dance routines and plenty of popular songs to please all ages.
Tickets are priced at £19.50, with concessions, family tickets and group discounts available. They can be purchased through the box office on 01332 255800.
