Buddy Holly & The Cricketers perform the Rock and Roll Jukebox at Nottingham Playhouse on Wednesday, June 13, at 7.30pm.

For 20 years, this breathtaking show has delighted audiences across the globe from Cardiff to California and Bournemouth to Bangkok.

It has toured all over the USA, Europe, the Middle and Far East, performed live on primetime BBC One, Good Morning Britain and Richard and Judy, entertained royalty and raised money for sporting beneficiaries and numerous charities including SPARKS, Cancer Research, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the British Olympic Appeal.

Led by Dean Elliott, who played the lead in Buddy on the West End stage over 400 times, and has performed to great acclaim for Buddy Holly’s family in Lubbock, Texas, this fresh and exciting cast put on a show that is guaranteed to get you on your feet singing along and dancing in the aisles.

Buddy Holly wrote some of the most enduring rock and roll classics; That’ll Be The Day, Rave On, True Love Ways, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy! and many more. From an era when the stars worked together and influenced each other, this show features all of Buddy’s classics plus the greatest hits from the legends including Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard and The Beatles.
