A gang of petty pilferers are set to steal the show when a new farce has its premiere in Alfreton.
The burly burglars are hired out to unsuspecting families in the guise of nannies and care workers.
But the Fagin-style enterprise looks set to come unstuck when a new recruit gets cold feet in Crooks and Nannies.
The play is being staged at Alfreton Wesley Church on Thursday and Friday, July 23 and 24, at 7pm.
Admission is free, but there will be a collection for Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of drama group member Mike Howell, who died earlier this year.
