Beware of low flying custard pies as one of Britain’s last surviving travelling clown troupes comes to Wirksworth Town Hall on Sunday, March 20.
The National Clown Theatre stages its show at 2.30pm. Combining pantomime humour with the thrill of the circus, the performance features traditional slapstick, magic, a quick change illusionist, a human slinky acrobat, prizes and surprises.
“We are bringing gallons of fun and bucketfuls of laughs” said Charlie Cheesecake, the show’s chief laughtermaker. ”This is our first ever visit to Wirksworth so we hope to make as many people laugh as we can”.
Tickets are available in advance on 01384 423496.
