Comedy of mistaken identity from farce aces

A fast-paced comedy of mistaken identity, Who’s Who! will be on stage at Buxton Opera House this week.

Written by the acclaimed masters of farce, writers Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall (Billy Liar, Worzel Gummidge and Jeffrey Barnard Is Unwell), Who’s Who! is a knock-about comedy with a bit of class.

Old friends Bernard and Timothy find themselves staying in a posh hotel, one to have an affair with girlfriend Helen, the other to help him cover it up... but when wife Joanna turns up, events spiral inevitably towards unexpected consequences.

The play is a 70s classic and this production remains faithful to era with authentic sets and costume.

Offering a muddle of ‘philandering husbands, wives and girlfriends, truth, lies and riddles’, the result is ‘two hours of fast, furious fun!’

Who’s Who! is performed on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15-16, with performances starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced from £13 to £17 and discounts are available.
