The Classic Thriller Company return to the Theatre Royal in Nottingham this week, to thrill, enthral and keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the summer.

Don’t miss out on four weeks of murder, intrigue, mystery and first class entertainment, running at the venue from July 28–Saturday August 23.

The season kicks off with a classic of the thriller genre, The Ghost Train by Arnold Ridley, running from Monday, July 28-Saturday, August 2.

Stranded in the middle of nowhere, a group of travellers hear tales of The Ghost Train. Is there really a phantom train, or are there more sinister, earthly forces at work?

From Monday, August 4-Saturday, August 9, you can enjoy a production of Shadow of the Ghost, a comedy thriller by Nicholas Ridley and Chris Ponka.

When the Lemon Tree Players decided to present a production of Arnold Ridley’s famous thriller The Ghost Train, little did they realise that they themselves would be wrapped up in a murder mystery to rival that of any fictitious plot…

Francis Durbridge’s work is always a favourite with Classic Thriller Season audiences, and his play Fatal Encounter can be seen from Monday, August 11-Saturday, August 16.

After Howard’s wife, Joanna, has committed a fatal shooting, he admits to being responsible. However, how blameless can anyone ever be?

Finally, from Monday, August 18-Saturday, August 23, the performances will be of Murder Weapon, by Brian Clemens.

At first, the murder of Paul Tulliver appears to be an open and shut case. But, as the police investigate the murder, it becomes apparent that all is not as it seemed.

Tickets for the performances in the Classic Thriller Season are £11-£21. Call the box office for more details on 0115 9895555.
