Get ready for some thrills and spills when the dark comedy thriller The Perfect Murder is performed at Derby Theatre from March 3-7.

Written by best-selling author Peter James , it stars Les Dennis and Claire Goose and visits Derby as part of a successful UK tour.

In The Perfect Murder, Victor Smiley and his wife Joan have been married for a long time.

But their marriage has reached a crisis point and Victor has decided there is only one way to get Joan out of his life forever….but he’s about to get a nasty surprise!

As young detective Roy Grace starts to investigate his very first homicide case, dark forces intervene and he begins to fear that nothing is quite as it seems, in this entertaining dark comedy thriller.

Peter James is one of the UK’s most treasured crime and thriller novelists and he has adapted his book into the stage version of The Perfect Murder.

Les Dennis is a well-loved household name who first found comedy fame in partnership with Dustin Gee while working on Russ Abbot’s TV show.

He has become one of Britain’s most popular entertainers through ITV game show Family Fortunes.

He also has a long list of theatre and TV acting credits including memorable turns on BBC comedies such as Extras and Life’s Too Short.

Claire Goose has regularly appeared on TV since the late 90s.

She has numerous high profile TV credits to her name including Casualty and Waking the Dead.

Also starring in the production is Gray O Brien (Peak Practice and Coronation Street), Steve Miller (Casualty) and Simona Armstrong (Doctors, A Touch of Frost).
