PREPARATIONS are well under way for Derbyshire theatre company Attic Rats’ next production – Jekyll and Hyde – at the Guildhall Theatre in Derby from October 6-8 and they are now on the lookout for one extra cast member.
The story of Jekyll and Hyde is sinister and brooding tale that serves as cautionary tale about the dangers of manipulating the human psyche and believing we can always remain in control.
Jekyll and Hyde is being staged on the back of Attic Rats’ acclaimed production of Arsenic and Old Lace, which they performed in February to the Guildhall Theatre in Derby.
Again, a talented cast have been pulled together for this production. However, there remains just one role to fill.
Attic Rats are looking for an actress aged up to 30 or so to take a significant part in the production.
Production director Jonathan Leach, said: “This is a unique opportunity for someone to act alongside a really great cast and take part in a dark play and demanding role,
“The chosen person will have the chance to perform in the lovely Guildhall Theatre, which will provide an excellent backdrop for setting the scene in Victorian England.”
Attic Rats are a friendly drama group who do not charge subscriptions. The cast begin their rehearsals in Mickleover on Wednesday, June 15. So if you are interested in this unique role, please contact Attic Rats owners Jonathan Leach or Peter Harrison on 07952675862 or 07811182931 or by email at email@example.com
