Lionel’s back for more

Lionel Richie returns to Nottingham, adding a new show to the Tuskegee Tour and performing at Capital FM Arena on October 3, his first European tour since 2009.

With many of his UK dates already sold out, Nottingham is set to be one of the hottest concerts of the autumn.

His European tour will take him across the continent performing 35 shows in 19 countries starting this September, nearly 25 years to the day since his first European solo tour, The Outrageous Tour.

His show will deliver a mix of material from a 30-plus year career including tracks from the Commodores’ and Lionel’s solo back catalogue.

Music icon Lionel Richie has created an unforgettable body of work that speaks to the hearts of people of all races, faiths and ages around the world with his universal themes of life, love and loss presented with poetic simplicity and irresistible melodies.

He has earned sales of more than 100 million albums, 22 Top 10 hits, five Grammys, an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe and a host of other awards from virtually every other major entertainment organisation.

His catalogue of timeless hits include Say You, Say Me, Easy, Still, Stuck on You, You Are, My Love and Endless Love. His current album, Tuskegee, is a worldwide hit, claiming the No. 1 spot for two consecutive weeks on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and hitting No. 1 on the Canadian albums chart.

It is a Top 20 album in ten countries and a Top 10 hit in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Holland, Australia, Hong Kong and Sweden.
