Belper Stage Productions are to present Under The Sea, on Saturday, March 29.

This is an original family fun production, written and produced by Allison H. Hunt and is being performed at the Robert Ludlam Theatre, Allestree, Derby, starting at 7.30pm.

In Under The Sea, Mac and Gloria (The Baddies played by Andrew and Allison Hunt) want to rule the ocean (for the second time) and with the help of their hapless sidekicks, Sid the Squid and Neil the Eel, (played by Oliver Griffiths and Michael Dawson) and The Fisherman, they set out to get rid of the opposition (The Goodies, including two mermaids, The Crayfish brothers, Lola the lobster and many more sea creatures).

You should also look out for a guest appearance of Tina Turbot.

From the beginning, we know who the villains are but who will turn out to be the heroes and will they be able to save the day?

Belper Stage Productions’ adults and juniors once again join forces to present another of Allison Hunt’s original productions.

Fun songs and lively music with the group’s own live band make this a show for all the family.

Ticket information is adults £8.50 and concessions £7 .

You can call 01332 348611 or 07973512560, or get in touch wit The Robert Ludlam Theatre’s box office.

The ethos of the society is such that newcomers are readily welcomed, without the need of an audition.

Members range in age from 5-65, and although the shows are performed at the Robert Ludlam Theatre, rehearsals are still held in Belper at St. Mark’s Church Hall, Openwoodgate.

The pictures show The Shrimp Family played by BSP Juniors, and Gills Aloud, played by Emma Davis, Molly Davis and Georgia Dawson.
