Mike McClean has already made a name for himself locally for his side-splitting panto performances at Derby’s Assembly Rooms over the last two years.

Now he’s back to perform in an eagerly-awaited show there on Saturday, June 29. McClean’s Back will take place in the Darwin Suite from 8pm.

Audiences are invited to join the Mancunian motormouth and friends for an evening of top class comedy which will have them rolling about on the floor.

The evening will include two guest comics, a rubbish raffle and a joke competition. Mike will also perform his original comedy mind-reading act which has already received rave reviews.

Mike started out doing stand up comedy magic at the age of 11, and gained lots of experience throughout his teenage years. He trained as an actor at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. However, after leaving college, Mike gravitated towards stand-up comedy and quickly broke onto the circuit with a comedy magic act.

In 2001, Mike moved to Channel 4 and joined The Big Breakfast. More recently Mike has fronted Essential a new travel show for the Travel Channel.

Tickets are available on 01332 255800.

The show is suitable for those aged 16-plus.
