Sibling rivalry in family play

NOTTINGHAM Playhouse’s special Christmas show for four to eight-year-olds is now up and running and can be seen at the theatre until Saturday, December 31.

Whose Shoes?, by Mike Kenny, tells the story of what happened to Cinderella’s slipper after she married her prince.

Little Eldemina loves to dance. One day she is invited to dance for Queen Cinderella, who is so enchanted that she gives Eldemina her beautiful glass slippers.

Eldemina is very happy, until Madeline, her new baby sister, is born. When Eldemina hears that Madeline will be a dancer too, she throws her glass slippers into the lake so no one else can ever wear them.

Whose Shoes? is a gentle, funny play which features specially composed live music and, of course, dancing.

Tickets to see this Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company presentation are £6 for adults and £5 for children.
