A SIXTH new date has been added for the visit to Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall by hit show Good Mourning Mrs Brown.
This is due to overwhelming demand for tickets to see the stage tour of the show, starring Brendan O’Carroll.
Royal Concert Hall’s managing director Robert Sanderson said: “Good Mourning Mrs Brown has sold the most tickets, in the shortest time, of any comedy show certainly since I arrived in 2009, and very possibly in the 30-year history of the venue. I’ve seen the TV show, Mrs Brown’s Boys, and I found it laugh out loud funny. I think it clearly has a very broad appeal. It’s a real coup for Nottingham to be one of only five cities in the country to get this very popular stage tour. Our box office has been inundated with calls since tickets first went on sale and if demand continues at this level I would expect to see all six nights full to the rafters.”
Tickets for this additional performance on Sunday, July 3 are priced from £19.50 to £27.50 and are available from the Royal Concert Hall box office on 0115 989 5555.
