Stand-ups galore at popular city venue

There’s another stellar line-up of comedy coming up during June at Nottingham Glee Club.

On Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, you can see Danny McLoughlin, Pete Johansson, Damian Clark and James Dowdeswell.

With an amiable confident stage presence and a well written set, Danny McLoughlin delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further.

On June 13-14, the visitors are Carl Donnelly, Daliso Chaponda, Reverend Obadiah III and Bruce Devlin.

2013 Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee Carl Donnelly (as seen on Mock the Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand) brings his critically acclaimed comedy to The Glee.

On June 20-21, you can see stand-up sets by Jim Tavare, Gary Little, Jason Patterson and a fourth as-yet-unannounced comedian. TV audiences will recognise Jim Tavare from his appearances in the BAFTA winning Sketch Show on ITV1 but his original deadpan delivery and perfectly crafted routines have also made him an internationally renowned stand-up comedian.
