A show called Once In A Lifetime is to pay tribute to performer Graham Walker, one of original members of The Grumbleweeds, who died earlier this year at the age of 68, after a two-year battle with cancer.
The comedy spectacular will be held at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham on Wednesday, August 28, from 7.30pm.
Stars will be paying tribute to one of the original members of the comedy and music troupe, who was with them for 50 years.
Tickets are £20 and are available online at www.trch.co.uk or by calling 0115 989 5555.
Tickets purchased for the original Grumbleweeds show will be valid or a full refund can be offered.
This special comedy memorial performance will replace the original billing of The Grumbleweeds show that would have taken place on that night.
Grumbleweed Robin Colvill will be joined by Brian Conley, Rick Wakeman, Billy Pearce, Duggie Brown (The Comedians), Hilary O’Neil (Who Do You Do), Bernie Clifton (and his ostrich), Jean Fergusson (Last of the Summer Wine), Stu Francis and Syd Little as a tribute to celebrate 50 years of The Grumbleweeds in show business.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Graham Walker’s family.
