THE Doris Day-themed show Wonderful Day returns to Derby’s Guildhall Theatre by popular demand on Sunday, October 30, with performances at 4pm and 7.30pm.
It aims to delight audiences with sophisticated cabaret celebrating the life and music of Hollywood’s most adorable star, Doris Day.
Remember Que Sera Sera, the Deadwood Stage and Sentimental Journey? Reminisce and rediscover with great songs from Calamity Jane, Pillow Talk, Young at Heart, Love Me or Leave Me and The Pyjama Game.
The star of the show, playing Doris Day, is Airlie Scott. She said: “We’re so excited to be able to bring Wonderful Day back to Derby. Doris is back in the charts and it’s fantastic to celebrate her success like this.”
Doris Day’s new album My Heart was released in September and propelled her back into the top ten. Tickets to see Wonderful Day are available from the box office on 01332 255800.
