An exploration of the art of politics and the politics of art provides the theme of a group’s first play of 2016.
Hasland Theatre Company launches its production of The Bright and the Bold Design on Friday, January 15.
The show is set in the North Staffordshire Potteries in the 1930s where a firm’s boss clashes swords with the new art director whose political beliefs gradually lead him into conflict within the small community.
The Bright and the Bold Design is at Hasland Playhouse on January 15 and 16, then from January 18 to 23 at 7.30pm. For tickets, contact www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/113458
