There are plenty of things happening in Derbyshire and the Peak District from October 24 to November 1, including pumpkin trails and pumpkin picking.

1. Scare Safari at Gulliver's Kingdom
Monsters are taking over the Matlock Bath theme park for a spooky season of Halloween fun. From October 24 to October 31 there is "seriously spooktacular surprises", shows, tricks and plenty of treats. Adult tickets are £13.
2. Fang-tastic Halloween Festival at Matlock Farm Park
From October 24 to November 1 there will be a Spooky Trail, pumpkin patch and carving station and pony rides.

3. Spooky Bolsover Castle
Solve creepy clues and gather round to listen to spooky stories, and, there is also a frighteningly fun fancy dress competition, from October 24 to November 1. There are also ghost tours around one of the UK's "most haunted sites" for people aged over 16.

4. Village Pumpkins
You can pick a pumpkin at the patch on Johnnygate Lane, Barlow, October 19 to October 31, 9am to 5pm.
