Ursula and Conor McKay bring Irish and country music to north Derbyshire

Irish and country music is on the cards in a concert featuring a husband and wife.

Ursula and Conor McKay will be bringing their songs to Uppertown Social Centre, near Ashover, on June 13.

They are backed by the Barry Doyle Band, whose frontman Barry, also performs under the name of Farmer Dan.

Ursula formed her first band when she was 16 and performed as part of Ursula’s Band at Uppertown on numerous occasions. Her parents James and Tina McKeefry introduce Celtic Fringe on Radio Derby. Conor is renowned as the Singing Brickie.
