THE Vintage Home and Fashion Fair is back at Matlock’s Imperial Rooms on Saturday, March 5.
The event was introduced to Matlock for the first time last July and was such a resounding success that organisers Discover Vintage had planned an even bigger one in December, although the snowy weather caused this to be cancelled.
Keeley Harris from Discover Vintage explained: “I have never had to cancel an event before and the decision was not easy. The people of Matlock really enjoyed the fair last time and could not wait to see all the vintage things we have on sale.”
Many of the items at the event are from the 1940s and 50s, including clothes, jewellery and things for the home. So if you are looking for a special little piece of history, this event is not to be missed. There is also tea and cakes provided by the Sheffield-based Countess Tea Room, so visitors can have a rest from sifting through the treasures of the past.
The event runs from 10am-4pm and entry is just £1.
